May the joy of resurrection and the hope of Easter fill your hearts and minds this whole year. - Pastor Rodney
Whether it's your first time at church or you've gone to church for years, our Sunday services are a welcoming place for you to enjoy worshiping Jesus with others. Community makes life better and reminds us that we can't do life alone.

We live in troubled times - but God will see us through! Please reach out to each other, texts, phone calls, video/facetime chats, whatever works for you. We have been provided extra time to “love on another”.
Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see. Keep the faith, continue to pray for each other and our world, call each other, offer assistance, and may the God of love and peace bless each of you and our church congregation.

St. John's is an active congregation with services held each Sunday. The style of worship would probably best be identified with traditional/blended. Congregational singing is done by hymnal and accompanied by organ or piano. While there are elements of a very traditional church the service is conducted in a more "laid back" style and congregants dress comfortably for services.
Communion is offered the first Sunday of each month and on special dates throughout the year. It is open to all who believe. The church also owns its own cemetery which is located on the church grounds.
Founded in 1877 by German Immigrants the church was originally associated with the German Evangelical Lutheran Synod of Missouri the Synod merged with three other denominations in the mid 50's to become the United Church of Christ.
While the history of the church is important, so is the future.
The motto of the church is "cherishing our past, embracing our future.
